Murderville is a game about killing and chaos, with the goal of helping people to channel their aggression, stress, rage, repression, and inner-anger in a safe and fun way. (The newest science – not the anti-violence game propaganda bullshit that also hated TV and Rock music – suggests that high-intensity gaming can be a form of mood management, helping players process hostility and reduce stress in a controlled environment.) We created the Stabbing Back initiative because while our cards are designed to “kill” in the game, our community is designed to keep people alive in the real world. We don’t do traditional “charity.” We practice Direct Giving. —
When you purchase a specialty card, your money doesn’t get lost in a corporate “administrative fee” or a marketing budget for a massive non-profit. It goes into a war chest specifically reserved for people in our community who are hitting a breaking point.
No Red Tape: We bypass the bureaucracy to provide immediate, tangible support.
Total Transparency: Every dollar in our Crisis Intervention and Trauma Recovery funds is tracked and deployed where it matters most.
Empowerment Over Dependency: We don’t just hand out checks; we partner with individuals to foster resilience, dignity, and a path forward.

The Mission: Immediate, front-line support for individuals in the middle of a life-altering storm, need to escape a bad situation, or immediate danger that need swift rescue.
The Impact: We treat these funds like an emergency rapid-response unit. Life attacks fast, so we hit back by providing the friction-less capital needed for immediate safety. This includes emergency relocation for domestic safety, clearing utility arrears to keep lights on during a health crisis, or providing food and supplies to those suddenly displaced.

The Mission: Lets face it, drug use to the very often go-to for self medication and often goes hand and hand with these kinds of issues. Breaking the cycle of dependency and reclaiming independence is cruicial.
The Impact: Intervention is about interrupting a downward spiral before it hits the bottom. We fund the gap between “wanting help” and “getting help”—a window that is often dangerously small. These funds support sober living deposits, transportation to recovery meetings, and access to outpatient resources that prioritize the individual’s dignity. We focus on community-based recovery models that ensure no one has to fight the “Final Boss” of addiction alone.
The Cards: Intervention Cards are designed to disrupt the flow of the game. It is only fitting that the revenue from these cards is used to disrupt the flow of addiction in the real world.

The Mission: Ensuring no one has to play their final hand alone.
The Impact: This is our most critical “Zero-Failure” pillar. This fund is dedicated to immediate prevention and the infrastructure of hope. We contribute to 24/7 localized crisis lines and fund Mental Health First Aid training for community leaders to spot the “silent” signs of distress. Our goal is to create a network of “Human Safety Nets”—people trained to intervene before a permanent decision is made for a temporary problem.
The Cards: In Murderville, Team-Up Cards are about survival through connection. By using these cards to fund prevention, we reinforce the idea that the only way to win the hardest battles is together.
Murderville was built on the idea that we can embrace the darkness without being consumed by it. When you buy these cards, you aren’t just adding chaos to your game night; you are providing a tactical advantage to someone fighting a real-world battle they didn’t ask for.
We don’t believe in “thoughts and prayers.” We believe in direct, aggressive intervention. Every dollar we raise is a middle finger to the statistics of depression, addiction, and trauma.
You play the hand you’re dealt. We’re here to make sure you have the deck to win.
