A raw, jagged scream tears from their throat as the searing liquid spreads, eating through fabric, flesh, and bone with merciless speed. Steam curls up in ghostly wisps as if their very essence is evaporating, and the air fills with the sickly sweet scent of burnt hair and charred skin.
Their body convulses as it breaks down, the acid working its way inward, revealing sinew and muscle, layer by melting layer. Blood pools, thick and dark, around their feet, mingling with what’s left of their dissolving form. Eyes wide with horror, they’re caught between pain and the grotesque realization of their own disintegration, skin bubbling and sloughing off in sheets. The bones—sturdy and solid only moments ago—begin to soften, losing their structure, bending under the relentless onslaught.
